Use Adjust PDF when an imported worksheet is too big or you want one exercise to fill the page.
Turning on Adjust PDF
Open a notebook by clicking the Notebooks icon in the Controls bar, the dark gray strip along the bottom of the call window, right after Share Screen, and go to a page that has an imported PDF. To bring a PDF in, see Using pages in a Nearo notebook.
Click ···, the three dots next to the Add page icon in the middle of the top band, to open the page options. In a narrow window, open the More (⋮) menu at the right end of the top band and choose Page options….
Click Adjust PDF, which is in the group under the margin choices. It appears only on a page that has an imported PDF.
The Pointer is selected and the worksheet is selected. The menu choice now reads Done adjusting PDF.
Moving, resizing, and cropping
With the worksheet selected, drag it to move it or resize it.
To crop, double-click the worksheet and keep just the part you want.
The worksheet keeps its shape, always stays entirely on the page, and cannot grow bigger than the page or rotate. A Letter-size worksheet at full size already fills the page, so it cannot move until you make it smaller. A small piece you enlarge looks softer. Anything you drew on the page stays where it is.
Resetting and copying to other pages
Click Reset to full page to return this page's worksheet to its imported size and position and remove any crop.
Click Apply to all pages from this import to copy this page's size, position, and crop to the other pages from the same PDF.
Click Reset all pages from this import to do the same reset for every page from that PDF.
These choices appear only while Adjust PDF is on, and they cannot be undone. If a page has work on it, a box asks first; your work does not move.
Finishing
Click Done adjusting PDF in the same menu.
Adjust PDF also turns off when you leave the page or close the notebook. While it is on, your student can move, resize, and crop that worksheet too, but cannot turn it on or off.
ℹ️ Undo skips moving and resizing a worksheet but does undo a crop.
