I can't remove the Light Engine from my lamp body — do I need a tool?

Learn how to remove UNO, PRO, and N1 Light Engines, including when to use the N1 removal tool.

Updated over 2 months ago

NEOZ offers three versions of our Light Engine: UNO, PRO, and N1.

For UNO and PRO Light Engines
These can be removed easily by hand:

  1. Remove the lock screw.

  2. Turn the Light Engine in an anti-clockwise direction until it dislodges from the lamp diffuser (body).

For N1 Light Engines
The N1 features a rubber seal at its base, providing water and dust resistance (IP protection). Because of this seal, removal may require additional leverage:

  1. Remove the lock screw.

  2. Use the supplied N1 removal tool to turn the Light Engine in an anti-clockwise direction.

All N1 Light Engines are supplied with a removal tool, and 6-lamp charging trays have the tool built into the tray.

If you no longer have your removal tool, our service team can help. Please contact us at service@neoz.com.au or complete the Service Enquiry Form on our website.
