Why does my lamp have a serial number?

Learn why every NEOZ lamp has a unique serial number and how it protects your warranty, ownership, and security.

Updated today

Each NEOZ lamp is assigned a unique serial number to ensure it is identifiable for warranty and purchase validation purposes. This allows us to confirm if a product is still covered by warranty and provides an additional layer of security for our customers.

The unique serial number also acts as a deterrent against theft, particularly in venues, as stolen lamps can be traced back to their original owner. In many cases, this has enabled us to assist in recovering stolen lamps.

Please note: NEOZ will never service or repair a lamp, or sell a charger for a lamp, if the serial number and original purchaser do not match the person presenting the lamp. This policy helps us maintain the integrity of ownership and further deter theft.

If you have further questions regarding serial numbers, our sales team is here to help.

You can reach them at sales@neoz.com.au or via the Contact Us form on our website.
