There's only two pieces of equipment you need to use NeuroLister (and both are optional for some sellers):

  1. Label printer

  2. Barcode scanner.

Do you need a label printer?

Only if you're an FBA seller.

Do you need a barcode scanner?

You can theoretically type in ISBNs/UPCs manually, but it is not recommended.

Label printer: Understanding your options

NeuroLister works with the three main label printer makes:

  1. Dymo

  2. Zebra

  3. Rollo

Each of these has several models to choose from. And all of them can be found used on Ebay or Amazon (these printers can last for a decade or more, and there should be no issue buying used.)

Personally, I (Peter Valley) have used a Dymo LabelWriter 450 for many years, and have always found it reliable.

Barcode scanners: Understanding your options

If you have a portable scanner you use to source inventory with your smartphone, you can connect that to your computer.

Most sellers prefer to have a desktop scanner dedicated to listing.

There are many options that can be found for as little as $30. Here is one I use personally.

What about FBA labels themselves?

These can be found for very cheap on eBay.
