How to create, manage and share your annotation layers

Updated over a year ago

All annotations are stored in separate, sharable layers and you can have as many layers as you want. Tap 'Layers' in your menu bar and tap 'New' to create a new layer.

Layers can be hidden or made visible, it all depends on how you want to use them. Tap the Eye icon to hide a layer, and then again to reveal an annotation layer. Once you've created a layer, you can edit the name of the layer, share, and duplicate it, by tapping the three horizontal dots to the right of the layer.

You can share your layers via all the standard means of sharing e.g. with AirDrop, social media, email etc.

You can also access your annotation layers from your Library. Tap the 'My Library' icon, and then 'Annotations'. Use the drop down arrow next to an edition or part to view your annotation layers. Tap on the score or part to open it, or tap on the layer to share it with other musicians.
