Understanding Instant and Standard One-Time Payouts

Starting April 14

Updated over 2 months ago

Ready to payout funds from your Notch wallet balance to your bank account? Congrats 🥳 You earned it!

In your My Wallet section, you’ll see:

  • Available funds ready to be paid out

  • Funds in transit to your bank account

  • Three action buttons: Instant Payout, Schedule, and Manage

Let’s walk through how each payout option works.

Instant Payouts

Need your funds ASAP. Even on weekends or holidays? Instant payouts send your available balance directly to your eligible debit card or bank account* within minutes.

How to initiate an Instant Payout:

  1. Click or tap the green Instant Payout button

  2. Review your available balance and default payment method

  3. Click or tap Proceed to Payout when you're ready

  4. You’ll receive confirmation once your payout is on the way! And, most arrive within 10 minutes (depending on your bank).

A few things to note:

  • A small fee of 2% or $3.99, whichever is greater, applies (see Payout Fees)

  • Your debit card or bank account must support instant payouts

  • If not available, try adding an eligible debit card, or use the Standard One-Time Payout option instead

Standard One-Time Payouts

Standard One-Time Payouts are sent via ACH transfer and typically arrive in 1–3 business days.

To initiate a Standard One-Time Payout:

  1. Click or tap the Schedule button

  2. The screen will default to Standard Payout > Click or tap Proceed

  3. Review your available balance and payment method

  4. Click or tap Payout to complete the transfer

You’ll get a confirmation once the payout is initiated. You can track its status under Recent Transactions or by selecting View All.

If you have Auto Payout enabled and want to make a Standard One-Time Payout, don’t worry! This won’t interfere with your Auto Payout.
