Understanding the Grid View

Overview of the 'Grid' view within the games page on the assignors dashboard

By default the 'Games' page is displayed in a 'List' format. In addition to this 'List' format Notch also offers a 'Grid' view to see game details at a glance. This 'Grid' view can be toggled on by selecting 'Grid' in the upper right of the 'Games' page of your assignor dashboard.

Getting Familiar with the Grid

Within the grid view you can still use all the same filters, searches, and even create new games like you can in the list view. However, you will now see the games are displayed a bit differently.

Instead of a running list of games your matches are now broken out by day and hour within a grid (example shown).

Each game will appear as an entry in the grid and will be color coded according to the assignment status of the game. Below is a guide to what these colors mean;

  • Green - All roles within the game have been assigned and accepted by the officials.

  • Red - One or more of the assignments have been declined by the official(s). As the assignor you will need to review the game and re-assign the position(s) as needed.

  • Grey - One or more assignments are pending acceptance by the official(s).

  • White - One or more roles in the game are pending an official assignment.

If needed, you can also download this chart to your local device by clicking the "Download Grid" button in the upper left of each day. This will pull down a PDF copy of the grid shown.
