Weโ€™re excited to announce that users from Nigeria and Bangladesh can now create an nsave account using their national ID numbers. This is part of our ongoing commitment to widen access to secure financial services across the world.

๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ For Nigerian Users:

You can now sign up using your Nigerian National Identity Number (NIN). Hereโ€™s how:

  1. Open the nsave app sign-up page.

  2. Choose Nigeria as your country.

  3. Select NIN as your document type.

  4. Enter your NIN number only, no scan or upload is required.

  5. Follow the prompts to complete onboarding.

โœ… No need to upload a photo or scan of your NIN slip.

โŒ NIN slips are not valid as proof of address.


๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฉ For Bangladeshi Users:

You can now register using your Bangladesh National ID (NID). You can verify with smart NID + paper NID + online NID from Bangladesh.

  1. Open the nsave app and start your sign-up.

  2. Select Bangladesh as your country.

  3. Choose National ID.

  4. Enter your NID number, no photo or upload is needed.

  5. Complete the remaining steps to finish your sign-up.

โœ… We now accept both digital and laminated NID cards.

โœ… You only need to enter your ID number โ€” the rest is automatic.


โš ๏ธ Important Notes

  • This update applies only to users from Nigeria and Bangladesh using their official government-issued national ID numbers.

  • Make sure the number is typed correctly.

  • This ID is used only for identity verification. Youโ€™ll still need to upload a valid proof of address (if asked) to activate your account (utility bill, lease, bank statement, etc.).
