Getting Started with Your nsave Account
We’re excited to have you join nsave! Below is a step-by-step guide to help you open your account quickly and smoothly.
Requirements
You must be 18 years or older.
You must be a national of one of our supported countries.
You must have your original physical passport.
You need to provide a Proof of Address (PoA) document.
Step 1: Download the nsave App

Please note that the app is unavailable in the following countries:
Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Venezuela, Belarus, Russia, Cuba, Syria, Iran, North Korea, Crimea/Sevastopol, Donetsk/Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Myanmar, Yemen, Mali, South Sudan, Sudan, Eritrea.
Once you’ve installed the app, open it and follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 2: Check Your Account Eligibility
Depending on your nationality and country of residence, your nsave account might come with different features.
For instance, Palestinian nationals living abroad are supported, but unfortunately, those living within the Palestinian territories are not.
Some nationalities can have USD and GBP accounts but not EUR accounts.
To confirm which options are available to you, refer to our comprehensive list of supported countries.
Step 3: Complete Your ID Verification
Why is this needed?
We use an automated process to verify your identity for compliance and security.
What do I need?
A well-lit environment
A smartphone with a working camera
Your original physical passport (no scans or photos)
How does it work?
The app will ask you to take a clear photo of your physical passport.
You’ll be prompted to take photos of your face for a liveness check.
This process usually completes within a few minutes.
What if something goes wrong?
If you encounter any errors or your verification fails, please contact support for help.
Step 4: Upload Your Proof of Address
Why is this required?
This step ensures we comply with UK and EU rules by verifying your residential address.
Accepted Documents
Utility bills (electricity, water, gas, landline)
Bank statements (from a regulated bank)
Tax documents from a recognized government authority
Official government letters or correspondence (e.g., feesh w tashbeeh, efadet sakan)
Lease or rental agreements
Mortgage statements
A letter from your employer showing your address
If you’re a student, a letter from your university or university housing confirming your address
Document Requirements
Must clearly show your name and current address.
Must be recent:
Within 12 months for mortgage or lease agreements
Within 3 months for all other documents
Documents We Cannot Accept
Mobile phone or internet bills
National IDs or passports
Bills in someone else’s name (e.g., parents, relatives)
Statements from Wise, Elevate, or Payoneer
Documents older than 12 months (for lease/mortgage) or 3 months (for others)
Cropped or incomplete documents
Screenshots or unclear scans
Language
We accept documents in English, Arabic, French, German, Italian, or Spanish without translation.
How to Submit
After passing ID verification, upload your Proof of Address in the nsave app.
If you have trouble providing or uploading a document, contact support for assistance.
Step 5: Account Activation
Timeline
After ID verification and a valid PoA submission, account activation usually takes 2–3 business days.
Access to Your Accounts
You’ll get immediate access to your USD and GBP accounts (if requested) once activated.
EUR accounts (if requested) typically become available within an additional 2–3 business days.
Virtual & Physical Cards
Your GBP or EUR virtual cards usually take 2–3 business days to be set up after your account is active.
Once your virtual cards are ready, you can order a physical card from within the app.
Physical card delivery typically takes 2–4 weeks.
