An update on Lebanon and Palestine

Updated over a month ago

We’ve recently made some changes to our banking partners and infrastructure. Because of this, we can no longer open new accounts for individuals who are both nationals and residents of Lebanon or Palestine.

We know this is disappointing, especially for those who were previously able to start onboarding. Please know this decision is based on provider availability and legal requirements, not by choice, and we hope to expand to more countries in the future.

Who can still open an account?

You can still sign up if:

  • You are Lebanese or Palestinian but live outside Lebanon or Palestine, and.

  • You have a valid residency, ID, or proof of address in your country of residence.

In this case, onboarding will proceed normally, just like any other user living abroad.

Existing users

  • Palestine: Transfers to Palestine are unfortunately not available, and we don’t expect this to change soon. You can still send funds to other countries without issues.

  • Lebanon: Transfers to Lebanon may still be possible. If you experience difficulties, please contact Support, and we’ll do our best to assist. Transfers to other countries continue to work as usual.

Our commitment

We’re working hard to expand nsave to as many countries as possible. Make sure your notifications are enabled in the app, and we’ll let you know as soon as your country is supported.

Once again, we apologise for not being able to onboard new customers from Lebanon or Palestine at this time. Our mission is to make safe financial services available to all, and we hope to have your support as we work toward this goal.
