Apple Pay is not available in every country. This is Apple's own restriction — it applies to every card from every bank, not just nsave — and it is not something nsave or our card issuing partner can switch on for you.
If you see an error like "Cannot Add Card" or "The region setting for this device cannot be used with Apple Pay", this article explains why and what your options are.
What actually decides whether you can add the card
Three separate things have to line up:
Apple Pay has to be live in the country of the address on file for your nsave account. The address on your account is your card's billing address, and Apple checks it when you try to add the card. If that address is in a country where Apple Pay hasn't launched, Wallet blocks the card — no matter what your phone's region is set to.
Apple Pay has to be live in the country your iPhone's region is set to. Apple also checks this before it will add any card to Wallet. If your device region is set to a country where Apple Pay hasn't launched, Wallet blocks the card and shows the region error.
Your card's issuer has to participate in Apple Pay. This part is on our side and our partner's side, and it is already in place.
The most common cause by far is #1 — the billing address on file for your account. Changing your phone's region setting will not fix it, because the check is tied to your card's billing address, not your device settings. It is not a problem with your card, your account, or your verification.

Where Apple Pay is not available
If your address on file is in one of these countries, you will not be able to add any card to Apple Wallet — nsave or otherwise. Apple has not launched Apple Pay in these markets:

Good news: Google Pay covers some of the gaps
Apple and Google have launched in different markets. If Apple Pay isn't available where you are but you have an Android phone, tap-to-pay may still work.
Google Pay applies the same rule as Apple Pay: what matters is the billing address on file for your card — your nsave account address — not your phone's region setting.

Your card still works normally
Not being able to add your card to Apple Pay does not limit the card itself. You can still use it for:
Online shopping and checkout
Subscriptions and recurring payments
Travel bookings
Anywhere that accepts the card number directly
Apple Pay only affects contactless tap-to-pay from your phone.
FAQs
I set my phone's region to a supported country — why does it still fail?
Because the wallet also checks the billing address on file for your card, which is the address on your nsave account. If that address is in a country where Apple Pay (or Google Pay) hasn't launched, changing your device region won't help. This applies to both Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Can nsave enable Apple Pay in my country?
No. Apple decides which countries Apple Pay launches in. No bank or fintech can enable it in a market where Apple hasn't launched.
Is this because of my country being restricted by nsave?
Usually no — these are two different things. Apple Pay availability is Apple's commercial rollout, and it has nothing to do with our own eligibility rules. Many countries where we happily issue cards simply don't have Apple Pay yet.
My friend in another country added their nsave card. Why can't I?
Because Apple Pay is live in the country of their address on file and not in yours. Same card, same app — different Apple availability.
Will this change?
Apple regularly adds new countries. If Apple Pay launches where you are, your nsave card should become addable without you doing anything on our side.
My address on file is in a supported country and it still won't add.
Check that your iPhone is updated, that you're signed in to iCloud, and that a passcode and Face ID/Touch ID are set up — Wallet requires these. If it still fails, contact us via in-app chat or support@nsave.com with your device model, iOS version, the country of the address on your account, the country your device region is set to, and the exact error message.
