NetSuite Workflow

An overview of what information can be pushed into NetSuite and best practices to get the most out of the integration

Haven't connected NetSuite within Nuvo yet? Have your NetSuite Admin follow these integration steps: https://intercom.help/nuvo-credit/en/articles/7967840-netsuite-integration-instructions

Once you've integrated NetSuite and Nuvo, and information has began syncing between the two systems, you will be able to populate data in Nuvo and decide which customer information you'd like to push back into NetSuite.

What information can I sync between the two systems?

You will be able to sync standard fields from Nuvo to NetSuite:

  • 'Business Name/DBA' to 'Company Name' field

  • 'Federal ID Number' to 'Tax Reg. Number' field

  • 'Billing Address' to 'Default Billing' field

  • 'Statements/Invoice Contact' to 'Company Contact' field

  • 'Credit Terms' (Terms & Limit) to 'Terms' field

  • 'Shipping Locations' to 'Address' field

When do I need to sync customer information?

You have control over which information is synced back to NetSuite. When you're ready to approve or reject an application, you can then link the customer profile to a new or existing customer in NetSuite.

To do this, once you approve/reject an application, select 'Link to NetSuite Record':

You will then select if you are looking to update a new or existing custom in your ERP (NetSuite). When you select 'Existing Customer', you will then be able to search for the customer record from the data Nuvo is ingesting from NetSuite:

To select which fields you would like to sync, select:

You can then tick the boxes next to the information you would like to sync back to NetSuite. You'll always be able to see what data is in your ERP (right column), and what information will be synced. To complete this step, select the boxes of the information you'd like to update and select 'Sync'.

This information will sync instantly to NetSuite.

Not seeing the data sync instantly? Your company may have a syncing schedule with all integrated systems. Consult your IT team to see if there is a syncing schedule in place (i.e. 'update all system syncing data at 5pm daily')

Sales Rep Dashboard

The connection to NetSuite means your Sales Team will be able to see additional information, such as Credit Utilization in Nuvo so they know their customer's standing:

Your sales team can login to view this Sales Rep Dashboard at nuvo.credit by entering their email address, and retrieving a one-time-passcode in their email inbox.
