Posting a Job:

  • Log in to your Occupop account.

  • From the left side menu, select My Jobs and click on Manage Jobs.

  • Click on the green +New Job icon.

  • Enter the job title and job description. You can also set a closing date if you wish to.

  • You can choose the application type and whether the role shall be posted on your careers page and LinkedIn company page (this requires the integration set-up on Occupop under Settings).

  • Select job terms and job type, and from the drop-down list, select the desired sector/subsector.

  • You can also add tags for your careers page (this is only used if you are grouping or splitting jobs on your careers page).

  • Select your location. For free job boards must select a city and country, even if the role is remote or hybrid. You can add a postcode for a more appropriate setup for the location.

  • You need to select your workplace too.

  • Click on the Next Step (or Save as Draft if you need to save the role at this stage).

  • On the application settings page, you can choose if you request a CV from your candidates or not.

  • You can also pull the smart questions here. These can be loaded into a question group from preset questions, or you can individually add your questions here (these will then be part of the application).

  • You can also make decisions regarding equality monitoring at this stage, then click on Next Step.

  • Select the free job boards you want your jobs to be posted to. If you have integration and payment methods set up with any of the premium boards, you can toggle these on here. Click on Next Step.

  • On the Recruiters tab, you can decide if you want the role to be listed in the Recruiter’s Marketplace. You also have the option to add your favorite recruiters to the roles.

  • The next step is the Hiring Flow step, where you can design your hiring process for this particular role. By clicking the + icon, you can add extra stages, or you can delete ones by clicking on the bin icon.

  • Click on the next step, where you can assign roles to your team members or select which team members would be notified of the role.

  • Select Publish (the role shall be under your Live jobs now).

*You may only use words in the job title field, job boards will block icons or currency symbols and will result in your job not posting.
