What do to when you need something sent urgently

We will always try to accommodate last minute requests within our means and ask that you give as much notice as possible when making any rush order requests.

Priority orders will be assessed based on size, complexity, and when they are created. Below is a rough indication of cut off times and details on how to request priorities. Please note that these are estimates only and during peak time we may not be able to move orders up the queue.

Milton Keynes

Daily collection cutoffs for standard orders (20 units and under)

Fedex 1pm

DPD 1pm

Royal Mail 2pm

Warehouse opening hours 09:00-16:30 Mon-Fri

Please send any priority order requests to operations@ochre-platform.com along with a link to the order and any time constraints and we will confirm if it is feasible.

To help us process your order please make sure the following information is provided:

  • Order created and link included in email to us

  • Full address (including country) and contact details added (phone number and email address)

  • Correct postage method is selected

  • All items are in stock available to ship

US Whiplash warehouses

Priority orders can be requested for the US Whiplash warehouse however please note due to time differences we have less control over whether they can be accommodated. The same procedure outlined above can be used and we will liaise with the relevant warehouse team to try to get it sent.


Large orders and tour stock

Orders with more than 20+ items are handled by a different team of pickers and packers at the warehouse. We normally require a minimum of 48 hours notice for larger priority orders.

Large orders will often need to be packed up before we can provide accurate postage costs. If you need this information before we dispatch an order please use the ‘Whiplash Pick Up’ shipping method. The order will be packed and held until further notice.

Stock out requests for tours require careful management to ensure there is enough time to reach venues. Providing dates and addresses well in advance can help to coordinate delivery. We understand venues like to avoid having stock hanging around ahead of a show. We can pack orders ahead of time and release them at a later date to arrive as close to the show date as possible.

Contact details for tour stock should be for someone either at the venue who will be receiving the delivery or someone who can help coordinate the delivery when the driver arrives and monitor the tracking.

Same day delivery (Milton Keynes)

Same day delivery can be arranged once an order is packed up. This can be used for palletized or boxed orders going to a destination within the UK. The service is prices per mile covered and a quote can be provided upon request.

Cartons and box counts

To reduce the pick fees for large orders you can add the number of units in a case or carton. You will then be charged 1 item pick fee for each carton/case as opposed to each individual unit. You will still need to add the number of individual units you want to the order but the fees will be based on the number of boxes rather than items.
