The portal is the source of truth for supplement descriptions, pack name and pack contents. Supplement and Pack records must be edited from the portal if you want to change how they appear on the pamphlet or pouches.
Changes to an already synced Shopify product will only affect how they appear in your store. If the pack has not been synched to your store yet, it will carry over all changes made in the portal upon the initial sync and Shopify Product creation.
We do not currently override already synced products in Shopify Stores once they have been created.
As a note: Because the Shopify product created from the sync is always calling for the same pack record in our client portal, any order containing that product will have any and all client portal changes applied to it.
For example:
A pack called Hearth Health is synced to your store. You change the newly created Shopify product's name to Cardio Pack. When this Cardio Pack is ordered by a customer, the Heart Health pack will still be ordered as it appears in the client portal. The order's dynamic pack name will be printed on the pouches and pamphlet (if applicable) as Heart Health, because the client portal is the source of truth.
