Classes for Visual Learners

And how we think about demo-ing in our classes!

At Ompractice, some of our classes are run a little bit differently than how many people think about online fitness: you'll notice that some teachers are not demo-ing the full class, but may be sitting and guiding you through the class, watching students and teaching directly to the students in the room.

(If this isn't for you, don't worry, scroll down below and we have options for you!)

Teaching with primarily audible cues (no-demoing)

Teachers are specially trained to guide a student through a class through audible cue-ing that doesn't require a student to look up at the screen.

This might be a little confusing if you are new, but we do encourage you to try it out!

Teaching with mixed demoing, or a lot of demoing

That said, we know that some folks are primarily visual learners - don't worry, we have you covered.

Some of our teachers who demo for a lot of their classes are:

  • Agni Hogaboom

  • Anjali Sunita

  • Barbara Hospod

  • Brittney Cappiello

  • Brianna Rhea

  • Cornelius Jones Jr.

  • Emily Wiadro

  • Jayne Schmitz

  • Niki Saccareccia

  • Shanna Small

  • Tasha Edwards

  • Valerie Minos

How can I tell which teachers teach in which style?

On our schedule, you can hit the "filter button" and select "great for visual learners" to select classes that have a lot of demo-ing. Check out this article to learn more about how filtering works.
