๐ Recap: Manually Adjusting Ticket, Membership, and Subscription Prices at Checkout
When selling tickets through the Box Office interface, you have the flexibility to select seats and adjust prices as needed. This is especially useful for applying walk-up rates, custom discounts, or special pricing. By following a few quick steps, you can ensure accurate pricing before completing the transaction.
Steps for Manually Adjusting Ticket Prices
Choose Seats from the Seating Chart or add General Admission tickets to the Cart โ From the seating chart, click to select the seats you want to add to the cart. For General Admission, add the desired number of tickets to the cart.
๐ Adjust the Price โ In the cart, click the pencil icon next to the ticket price to edit it.
๐ต Enter the New Price โ Change the price (e.g., to $25) and hit the disc icon to save your changes.
โ Double Check Before Checkout โ Review your cart to confirm the seats, ticket types, and custom pricing are correct before completing the sale.
This flexibility lets you tailor pricing for specific patrons or situations, keeping your box office responsive and customer-focused!

How Will These Changes Appear in Reporting?
When the price of a ticket is overridden in the box office portal it is treated as the face price for that ticket type. In the example below, the price of one adult ticket was altered from $20 to $10.
In reports where sales by ticket type is available, sales for the ticket type at each price point will be displayed. In the example below, the regular price of the Adult ticket type is $25, but you can see that 26 tickets were sold at $20 face value, 1 at $10, and 4 at $0.
