🎓 Recap of Changing Show Setup (Reserved Seating ↔ General Admission)

On The Stage allows you to switch between Reserved Seating and General Admission (GA), but only before publishing your event. To do this, go to the Show Details section and update the Show Setup. Once an event is published, the show setup cannot be changed. If you need to switch after publishing, the only option is to create a new event with the correct setup.

🚀 Best Practices for Changing Show Setup

  • Decide Before Publishing: Choose the right setup during event creation, as changes aren’t possible after publishing.

  • Understand Your Audience’s Needs: GA offers flexibility, while Reserved Seating provides structure and assigned spots.

  • Double-Check Before Publishing: Review your show setup to avoid the need for later adjustments. 💺 Managing Reserved Seats If you wish to change reserved seats to open seating, On The Stage enables you to do so. Transitioning reserved seating into general admission (GA) can simplify ticketing and crowd management.

  • How to Convert Reserved Seats to General Admission:

    • Reserved seating can be switched to general admission from the event setup options before publishing.

    • By doing so, the seating chart will no longer display, and all seats will be pooled into an invisible ticket pool. This process ensures that attendees can select seats flexibly without predefined arrangements. 🎟️ Managing Complimentary Tickets When using On The Stage, you may encounter situations where you need to create complimentary (comp) tickets for internal use or promotional purposes.
