Before Publishing:

On the Show Details page, click the pencil next to Fees passed on to Customer.

In the pop up window select your desired fee plan.

If you'd like, click the red See Fee Calculator button.

This calculator allows you to figure out how much to charge for your tickets including the per ticket fee depending on your organizations fee plan.

Once you've determined your ticket price, click Got It on the bottom right corner, and Save on the next page.

After Publishing:

Once you have published your show, the type of fee type attached to your ticket (included or added on) can be changed with the help of Customer Support. Please open up a support ticket with the show name, and specify the fee type you would like the event to be changed to.

🎓 Recap of Changing Ticket Fee Structure Before and After Publishing

On The Stage allows you to adjust your ticket fee structure both before and after publishing your event. Before publishing, you can modify the fee structure in the Show Details section under Ticket Details. Once the event is published, changes can still be made, but any adjustments will only apply to future sales. Existing ticket purchases will retain the original fee structure. Always review your updates carefully to ensure they align with your pricing strategy and audience expectations.

🚀 Best Practices for Changing Ticket Fee Structure

  • Make Changes Before Publishing: Adjusting fees before publishing ensures a smoother experience without affecting existing buyers.

  • Communicate Changes Clearly: If modifying fees after publishing, inform ticket buyers about any updates.

  • Test Pricing Updates: Double-check how the new fees appear in the checkout process.

  • Ensure Consistency: Update any marketing materials or sales pages that mention ticket prices.

  • Monitor Sales Impact: Keep an eye on sales trends to see how fee adjustments affect purchasing behavior.
