Adding Text, Circles & Rectangles to Your Seating Chart

Right click anywhere on your seat map builder that is blank. This will open up the "Add rectangle, Add Circle, Add Text" key that is at the bottom right of the image below.

Click on the button of your choice to add it to your seat map.

To delete shapes begin by right-clicking on the shape and then click on Delete. Make sure to then click Save in the top right corner of your chart.

Ideas for Using these features:

  • Add a circle or square to indicate your registration table's location

  • Add a circle or square to indicate partial view seating (i.e column in the way)

  • Add text to denote where fire exits are, where there are aisles, etc

Free form added text will overlap, and not hide behind shapes, making them easy to label.

Noteworthy: At this time, the circle can be modified to an oval in draft mode but doesn't render as the same shape created; it will default to a circle. The rectangle does not allow you to tilt at this time.
