๐Walk Through
When creating your comp codes, understanding the ticket limits portion is essential!
Common Use Example: If a comp code is set for 4 Maximum redemptions, a patron can use it in more than one order. They could redeem 2 tickets in one order and two tickets in another order. Or they could redeem 1 ticket in one order and up to 3 in the next order.
Maximum redemptions overall means the number of times in totality the code can be redeemed. If you are sharing the code with 10 families to use, you would want the limit to be at least 10. If you are making a 1 time code for a patron, you could set the limit to 1.
Max tickets in transaction means the number of tickets that can be in the cart and comped. If you create a code that is for 4 comp tickets to an event, this number should be 4. If a patron places 5 tickets in their cart, they will recieve the following error:
Noteworthy: If patrons want to purchase tickets in a number that exceeds the promo code, they will have to purchase the tickets in a seperate transaction.
