To add a new state (or multiple states) to your OneEthos profile, send us an email with proof that you’re properly registered and licensed in each state you want to add. We’ll review and update your profile once the documents are verified.

What to include (per state)
Please attach both of the following for every state you want to add:
State Business Registration
Active/Current registration for your legal entity (and DBA, if used).
State Contractor License
Current license that specifically permits solar/PV (and battery, if applicable) work.
Tip: If a state requires multiple classifications (e.g., electrical + solar specialty), include all active license certificates.
Document guidelines
Status: Documents must be active and in good standing (not expired/suspended).
Entity match: The legal name/DBA on your documents must match your installer profile and contract documents.
Clarity: Full page, legible, and unaltered copies.
Processing & timing
Requests are handled in the order received.
If anything is missing, we’ll reply with what’s needed to complete the review.
Common mistakes to avoid
Submitting a city/county business tax receipt instead of a state business registration.
Sending a general contractor or electrical license that does not include the classification required for solar/PV in that state.
Entity names that don’t match (LLC vs. DBA vs. portal profile).
Expired registrations or licenses.
Missing one of the two required documents (registration and license).
