Approved Battery List (AVL) – Financing Requirements
Overview
To ensure product quality, safety, and compliance with our financing guidelines, OneEthos maintains an Approved Vendor List (AVL) for battery storage systems.
If a battery is not on our approved list, we are unable to finance it.
There are no exceptions to this requirement.
This policy applies to:
Storage-Only Loans
Solar + Storage Loans
If the project includes a battery, it must be on the approved list — regardless of loan type.
What This Means for Installers
Before submitting a loan for a project that includes battery storage:
Confirm the battery manufacturer and model are listed on our AVL
Ensure the product matches what is submitted in the loan documentation
If a battery is not on the AVL:
The loan cannot move forward with that battery included
Funding will not be approved for that product
The installer may submit a change order to switch to an approved battery
How to Access the AVL
The Approved Vendor List can be accessed in two ways:
Option 1: Through the Installer Portal
Log into the Installer Portal
Click the Training Materials tab
Click the blue button labeled “AVL List”

Important Reminders
The AVL is specific to battery storage products.
Always verify approval before contract execution to avoid delays.
If a battery is not listed, do not proceed under the assumption it will be approved later.
This requirement applies to both storage-only and solar + storage financing.
