Sending text messages to your client base is a great way to keep in touch about promotions and business updates. If you have a message you need to send to multiple clients it makes sense to send your message in bulk. LocalContacts allows you to select any number of clients to send messages in bulk.
To get started:
Log into your OneLocal dashboard and navigate to the LocalContacts section
2. Choose the individuals you want to message. You can:
Select all contacts.
Filter contacts based on specific criteria like upload date.
If you need help creating filters, check out this guide on creating filters
3. Click the "Send Message" button and either insert a message template or type your message directly. For a personalized touch, consider using dynamic tags, such as the client’s name

Daily Sending Recommendations
To maintain high deliverability rates, we recommend sending:
500 messages per day (low-end)
1,000 messages per day (high-end)
This excludes other messages like appointment reminders or follow-ups
Tips to Ensure High Deliverability Rates
1. Brand Registration and Trust Scores
Phone carriers decide whether to deliver your messages based on your phone number’s Trust Score. A higher Trust Score improves your messaging throughput and delivery success
Benefits of Brand Registration:
Increased message throughput
Higher deliverability rates
OneLocal can assist with brand registration and upgrade your phone number to a toll-free number. Contact your Digital Marketing Specialist for details
2. Avoid Common Pitfalls
Limit Daily Sends: Stick to the daily recommendation to avoid being flagged by carriers
Avoid Sending Photos with Texts: Send the text message first, followed by the image in a separate message to improve delivery rates
Don’t Use Link Shorteners: Use full URLs to prevent filtering by phone carriers
3. Use Templates with Dynamic Tags
Templates ensure consistency and personalization. Learn how to create templates here
Additional Notes
Always ensure clients have opted in to receive messages. Adding an opt-in checkbox to your intake forms is a simple way to secure consent
For promotional messages, keep the content clear and engaging to maximize impact
