Learn how to assign conversations, leave notes, and more!

Managing a team with multiple clients can be challenging. Fortunately, LocalMessages’ team features help you stay organized by tracking clients and conversations, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks!


Assigning a Conversation to a Teammate

  1. At the top of a conversation, locate the label that says "Unassigned."

  2. Click on it to select the team member you want to assign the conversation to. For example, you can assign it to OneLocal Support

Once assigned, the selected team member will see this conversation in their queue when they log in. They can also view:

  • Conversations assigned to them

  • Conversations assigned to teammates

  • Unassigned conversations


Leaving an Internal Note in a Conversation

Internal notes are a great way to document important details, such as a customer’s prior call or specific needs. Here’s how to leave an internal note:

  1. Click the Internal Note button in the conversation view

  2. Type your note in the provided space

Internal notes appear in yellow, making it easy to distinguish between internal communication and customer-facing messages.

By using these features, your team can collaborate effectively and ensure seamless communication with clients!
