How to Leave an Internal Note

When using LocalMessages, you have the ability to leave yourself and your team an internal note in the message thread. The benefits of this is being able to give more context to an interaction with a customer, or perhaps set yourself a reminder to do something - the possibilities are endless.

Follow the steps below to leave an internal note.

1. Open up your OneLocal dashboard here

2. Select the LocalMessages tab to the left hand side of the dashboard. 

3. Navigate to the SMS thread of the customer you want to leave an internal note for. You have 3 options: You, Assigned or All. To learn more about how to sort your LocalMessages, click here. 

4. In your message box, click "Internal Note" and add in your text and click "Add Note".

5. The note will now appear in your message thread, but you'll notice it's a different colour (orange) than the normal messages. 

You've now successfully sent your first internal note!
