Ringover: Connect your call data to OneUp

Generate your Ringover API key, configure a webhook and connect Ringover to OneUp

Overview

Before you can connect Ringover to OneUp, you'll need:

  • Your Ringover API key

  • The correct Ringover region

  • A Ringover webhook configured using your OneUp webhook URL

🔒 Ringover uses your API key to securely connect to OneUp and webhooks to send new call activity.

Get your API key

  1. Log into your Ringover admin dashboard.

  2. Click on Developer icon in the left hand sidebar menu, and select API.

3. From here, click on Create API key:



4. Select a user (usually the name of the Admin User profile you are using).

5. For the Label, enter OneUp API. Click Create.



6. Now that you have created the API key, click the edit icon to alter the settings:

7. From this page, ensure that the settings of the API are set up exactly like below, otherwise, we wont be able to obtain data as expected:

8. You can now copy the API key.

Find your Ringover webhook URL

Choose the option that applies to you:

I'm reconnecting an existing integration

  1. In OneUp, click your profile picture and select Platform Settings.

  2. Select Integrations.

  3. Find Ringover in the list and click the 🔒 icon.

  4. Copy the webhook URL displayed.

I'm setting up a new integration through the self-serve onboarding flow

  1. Return to the setup flow.

  2. Follow the steps to connect Ringover.

  3. Copy the webhook URL displayed during the setup process.

Configure your webhook

  1. Log into your Ringover dashboard

  2. Click on Developer icon in the left hand sidebar menu, and select Webhooks.


  3. Ensure the Call Event webhook is activated using the toggle, and paste your webhook URL in the Calls ended field

What next?

Choose the option that applies to you:

  • If you're onboarding with an Implementation Engineer, send them your API key and confirm your webhook has been configured.

  • If you're using our self-serve setup flow, return to OneUp and enter the details when prompted.

  • If you're reconnecting an existing integration, check that you have an active webhook set up in Ringover, using the correct webhook URL for your integration, then follow the steps below.

Reconnecting Ringover

  1. In OneUp, click the Settings icon next to your profile picture and select Platform Settings.

  2. Select Integrations in the left-hand menu.

  3. Find Ringover and click the 🔒 icon.

  4. Select your Ringover region using the dropdown.

  5. Enter your API key.

  6. Click Connect.

Check the connection

Once connected:

  • The integration status will show as Authenticated.

  • Data will begin syncing into OneUp.

  • Your users, activity and performance data will start appearing throughout the platform.

Troubleshooting

My integration is connected, but new calls aren't appearing

Check that your Ringover API has all the required Read permissions enabled.

My integration is connected, but some calls are missing

Check that:

  • The Ringover webhook integration is still active.

  • The webhook URL matches the OneUp webhook URL provided during setup.

If everything looks correct and you're still missing some calls, contact our Support team.

My connection failed

Double-check that:

  • The correct Ringover region has been selected.

  • The API key has been copied correctly.

I've lost my API key

Generate a new API key in Ringover and reconnect the integration using the new credentials.

My data isn't appearing in OneUp

The initial sync can take some time to complete. If the integration shows as connected but no data has appeared after 24 hours, contact our Support team.
