Overview

Displaying your OneUp slideshows on TVs around your office is a great way to visualise and share data, as well as draw attention to any leagues or missions you have running. Read this article to find out how to set up your TVs to show your customised slideshows.

Setting up a new TV

On the device you'd like to display your slideshow on, open Google Chrome and go to the URL oneupsales.tv.
A 6-digit code will then appear on the screen:
If setting up a TV through a Chromebit/Chromebox: On another laptop/computer, log into your OneUp account - this needs to be an account with admin access.

If setting up a TV through a laptop/PC or Chromecast: In a new tab on the browser, log into your OneUp account - this needs to be an account with admin access.
Click the TV option, found in the top nav-bar on OneUp, then click Screens.
A new page opens. In the top right of the page, click the blue Activate New TV button.
Select the slideshow you wish to be shown on this particular TV screen (if you have multiple slideshows, you can show different ones on each TV you set up).
Name the TV something recognisable (e.g. Main Office, Reception, Sales Floor, Meeting Room).
Finally, enter the 6-digit PIN that is currently shown on the oneupsales.tv tab, and click Activate TV.
That TV has now been activated and should appear as a new entry on your Screens page!

The TV icon in the Screens page will illuminate in green to indicate that it is active. A grey TV icon indicates that TV is offline, or not displaying a slideshow using oneupsales.tv.
Repeat steps 1 - 8 for any additional screens you want to set up.

Your TVs will remain configured even if you log out or turn the TV off. Every time you make a change to the content in your slideshows, it will automatically update on your TV.

If your TV encounters issues or becomes inactive, go to the Screens page again and refresh the TV.

Casting a slideshow to a Chromecast

If you're hoping to cast a device's screen to an available Chromecast in your office, then you can! Here's how:

Complete the steps in the previous section to set up OneUp TV on the device you will be casting from.
Connect your Chromecast to the TV that will be displaying the slideshow and follow the setup steps - a guide to this can be found here on Google's website. Ensure the Chromecast and the computer to cast from are on the same network.
Once done, load up oneupsales.tv in a tab on the host device (the PC/laptop). On this tab, click the menu button in Chrome (the 3 dots) at the top right of the window, and from the list, choose the Cast... option.
Select the available Chromecast from the list. Ensure you select 'also cast sound' if prompted.
Done!

Bookmarking the slideshow

It's strongly recommened to bookmark your slideshow, so you can easily get back to it if you need it again. To do this:

In Chrome, click the menu (3 dots icon) in the top right, then click Bookmarks, then click Bookmark This Tab...
From the new window, click More...
In the URL box, replace the URL with oneupsales.tv.
Name the bookmark something recognisable and click Save.
Done! You can now click this bookmark to return to the slideshow at any time.
