jmc's Activities module serves as a comprehensive tool for planning and managing all of your school's diverse activities, ranging from basketball to musicals and beyond. Within this module, you have the ability to create student rosters, designate coaches and advisors, and track student eligibility and compliance effortlessly. Once your school's activities are established in jmc Office, coaches and advisors can utilize the Coach/Advisor app to access crucial student and contact information, enabling them to send messages, make roster adjustments, and monitor attendance and schedules directly from the field. For a seamless start to your upcoming activities season, make sure to complete all the items on this checklist when setting up your activities in jmc Office.
▢ Add or edit coaches/advisors in the Activity module
Update each activity's coach or advisor as needed, or add any new coaches or advisors to the Activities module.
▢ Add or edit activities in the Activities module
Define the extra-curricular offerings at your school including the name of the activity, the coach/advisor(s) associated with the activity, activities fees and more.
▢ Grant access to the Coach/Advisor app
Introduce new coaches/advisors to the jmc Coach/Advisor app and grant them access to use the app for effective communication, roster lists, class schedules, attendance and more.
▢ Edit student rosters in the Activities module
Add or remove students from your activity rosters from either the Activities module or directly from the Coach/Advisor app.
▢ Ensure student eligibility
Review your conduct eligibility status in the Activities module and your health eligibility status in the Health module in jmc. Once those are set appropriately, school staff as well as coaches/advisors can check for eligibility in the Activities module or in the Coach/Advisor app.
▢ View activity compliance or commendation reports
View a list of students who are noncompliant due to the lack of parent permission, concussion awareness, or physical exam. Users can also view students with special commendations such as captain or letter winner.
