If you’re having GPS problems or losing connection with your OnTracx sensor during real-time feedback, try these steps:
For iPhone

Restart your iPhone – resets GPS and Bluetooth connections.
Check Location & Bluetooth settings
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
Set OnTracx to Always or While Using the App.
Turn Precise Location ON.
Toggle Location Services and Bluetooth OFF and ON again.
Turn off Low Power Mode – Settings > Battery > Low Power Mode OFF.
Enable High Accuracy Location Services – under System Services, keep Wi-Fi Networking, Bluetooth, Motion Calibration & Distance ON.
Check sensor connection – connect only through the OnTracx app, not via iPhone Bluetooth settings.
Reinstall the app if problems persist.

Restart your phone – resets GPS and Bluetooth.
Disable battery saving modes – keep them OFF while running.
Toggle GPS and Bluetooth OFF and back ON.
Check app permissions – Settings > Apps > OnTracx > Permissions:
Location: Allow all the time.
Bluetooth: Allowed.
Disable battery optimization for OnTracx – steps vary by device brand (Samsung, Huawei, OnePlus, etc.). Look for Battery Optimization or Special Access and set OnTracx to Don’t optimize.
Set Location to High Accuracy – Settings > Connections > Location > High Accuracy.
Allow background activity – Settings > Apps > OnTracx > Battery > Allow background activity.
Check sensor connection – ensure the sensor is charged and connected via the app, not directly through Bluetooth settings.
Reinstall the app if nothing else works.
