Portal Dashboards

Your Onward portal includes analytics dashboards that give you real-time visibility into the performance of each product. These dashboards are embedded directly in the portal and update automatically as new data flows in.

Accessing Dashboards

Click the Analytics section in the sidebar navigation. You'll see a dashboard link for each Onward product you have enabled:

  • Protect — Your main Protect analytics dashboard.

  • Returns — Your returns performance dashboard.

  • Order Editing — Your order editing performance dashboard.

Protect Dashboard

The Protect dashboard is the most comprehensive, with multiple tabs at the top that let you switch between different views:

Protect Tab

Your core protection metrics — claims filed, resolution rates, premiums collected, and overall performance data.

CashBack Tab

CashBack-specific analytics — rewards issued, redemption rates, and customer engagement with CashBack. This tab is available if CashBack is enabled.

Carbon Offsets Tab

Carbon offset metrics — total offsets purchased, offset amounts, and environmental impact data. This tab is available if Carbon-Neutral Shipping is enabled.

Shipping Tab

Shipping analytics — delivery performance, carrier metrics, and shipment tracking data.

Upfront Guarantee Tab

Upfront guarantee metrics. This tab is available if Upfront Guarantee is enabled for your store.

Returns Dashboard

The Returns dashboard gives you a focused view of your returns performance, including:

  • Return request volumes and trends.

  • Resolution type breakdown (refunds, store credit, exchanges, Shop Now).

  • Return reasons analysis.

  • Processing times and other operational metrics.

Order Editing Dashboard

The Order Editing dashboard shows metrics related to customer order edits, including:

  • Number of orders edited.

  • Types of edits made (address changes, quantity changes, cancellations, etc.).

  • Editing trends over time.

Tips for Using Dashboards

  • Dashboards are interactive — You can hover over charts and graphs to see detailed data points.

  • Data is real-time — Metrics update as new orders, claims, returns, and edits are processed.

  • Use dashboards to spot trends — Check regularly to identify patterns in claims, returns, or customer behavior that might inform your settings or policies.

  • Pair with exports — For deeper analysis, combine dashboard insights with data exports from the Claims, CashBack, or Orders pages.
