Learn how community-wide and individual language settings work in Op 36, and how to set your preferred language.

Op 36 now supports multiple languages, so every coach and golfer can use the app in whatever language works best for them. We're launching with English, French, and Japanese, with more languages on the way.

Setting Your Community's Language

The lead coach of a community can set a default language for everyone in it. This lives under General in your community settings. Once set, every coach and golfer in your community sees Op 36 in that language by default, no setup required on their end.

Note: If you don't see "General" under settings this means you're not the lead coach. You will have to contact your lead coach to get access to this feature.

Overriding Your Own Language

Don't want to use your community's default?

Every coach and golfer can set their own language, no matter what the community has set.

On mobile, go to the tab More > Language and choose the language you want. Your personal choice always takes priority over your community's default, it only affects your own account.

Coach accounts on the web can change their web language by going to their profile settings > language.

Which Languages Are Available

  • English

  • French

  • Japanese

Good to know: More languages are on the way. If there's one your community needs, let us know at support@op36golf.com.

How It All Works Together

  • Community language — set once by the lead coach, applies to everyone by default

  • Individual language — set by any coach or golfer on their own account, always wins over the community default

Everything in the app is translated, so switching languages changes the full experience, not just parts of it.
