A lead source is the channel that brings your clients or vendors to your website, social media platforms, etc for the first time. Assigning a lead source to your contact can help track your ROI, but before you can assign a lead source, you need to create one. Learn more about adding, editing, and deleting lead sources below.
Adding Contact Lead Sources
Step 1:
From the hammer icon, click on Filters.
Step 2:
Select Contact Lead Sources from the left side.
Step 3:
In the text box, type the name of your lead source, and click Create Lead Source.
Editing Lead Sources
From the Contact Lead Sources page, find the lead source you need to edit, and click on the name. This will highlight the text in purple and you will be able to change it to whatever you need. Be sure to press Enter/Return on your keyboard to save the update.
Deleting Lead Sources
Any lead source can be deleted by clicking on the trash icon to the right of the lead source name.
