API Field Map Templates Overview

API Field Map Template

In an effort to create seamless synchronization between apps (Dotloop, SkySlope, Brokermint, and Follow Up Boss API), you need to map an API's fields to your internal Open To Close (OTC) fields. Applying API Field Map Templates is important when importing transactions into OTC because it’s the first step to facilitating content migration and data integration.

All Categories/ Category

Adding and using Category can help you organize your templates in such a way that it makes the template visually easier to locate.

  • You can delete the category that you created by clicking “Manage Categories”

  • Once the category has been created, it cannot be edited.

Sort Templates

It allows you to organize your templates according to your preference and this can be done by clicking the Sort Templates button. The right-side panel will open and you can drag and drop the API field map templates into the desired order.

Add New

This button will allow you to create a new API field map template.

Search Bar and Renaming a Template

This search box will allow you to easily find the template that you’re looking for especially if you have lots of API field map templates saved in the system. Hover your mouse over the template name and just simply type in the new name and hit the check button to save the changes.

Edit and Options

The “Edit” button will allow you to modify your API field map template. The “Options” are for cloning and deleting an API field map template.

API - this is where you can find the type of API Profile you currently have on each template.

Creating an API Field Map Template

Step 1:

From the dashboard screen, go to the hammer icon and select Templates.

Step 2:

Go to the API Field Map Templates, and click Add New.

Step 3:

Choose an API (Dotloop, SkySlope, Brokermint, and Follow Up Boss) then enter the template name and hit Create.

Step 4:

Click the Edit button to customize the API Field Map.

Step 5:

Choose the correct fields that you want to assign to your OTC account.
