Open To Close has a Calendar feature that allows you to add dates associated with your transactions to the calendar you synced to your account.

In order to use the Calendar feature, you will need to connect the email address that is associated with the calendar. It can either be a Google Workspace (Business) email address and calendar or a Microsoft Outlook email address and calendar. Follow this article if you need help with connecting Google Workspace or Microsoft Outlook: Connect Your Email.

Add the API Calendar Option to a Field

Start by going to the hammer icon and selecting Field Editor.

Image shows the Field Groups button dropdown with the default Field Group options.

Find any field that has a gray calendar icon with a horizontal line in it. This indicates it's a Date Field and can be added to a calendar. Click the calendar icon to change it to a purple calendar with a checkmark in it. Now, the field will have the option to add a date to it in the transaction details.

Image shows the Field Section "Inspection Details" with a list of Fields below it. On the right side of the Field name is a calendar icon (to the left of the star).

The image below shows what it will look like from the transaction details. You can see that the Termite Inspection Due doesn't have the calendar option because it was not selected on the Field Editor.

The Inspection Contingency End Date does show up and is now the grayed out calendar, indicating you haven't set a date for it yet.

Image shows the "Termite Inspection Due" Field without any calendar to the right of it. "Inspection Contingency End Date" has a grayed out calendar to the right of it.
