If you need to edit specific Fields, this can be done from the Field Editor which is located in the hammer icon.

Once you're on the Field Editor, find the Field you want to change. If you don't see the Field, make sure you are in the correct Field Group. You can switch groups by clicking on the Field Groups button.

Click on the name of the Field you want to edit, and you will see a new window open from the right side with additional information for the Field. From top to bottom, here is what each one represents.

  • Field Section - This is where you can change the section the Field is in.

  • Visible - You can choose to show or hide your Field from appearing on the property details.

  • Field Label - This is what you will see as the name of the Field.

  • Merge Field - If you need to update the merge field, it's important to understand that it will update it throughout all of the templates and smart blocks you have.

  • Placeholder Text - This shows an example of what can be entered into the Field.

  • Field Type - This cannot be changed.

  • Table Background Color - If you are using color coordination throughout your transactions, you can pick a color for the specific Field you are on. The color will show on that Field on the property details.

  • Default Priority - You can choose a priority for the Field by clicking on High, Med, or Low. The Field will show up with the priority you selected when you click on the Health Bar (AKA Priority Bar). This alerts you that this Field is important and requires action on your part.

If you used the Field Type of Choice, it will open another window on the left side where you can add new Field choices, update existing choices, and change the way the choices are presented on an intake form. For more information on the Choice Field Type, follow this article: Field Type Options.

Now that you have updated the different options for your Field, click the "I understand" box. This will show a new button that you can click on to update your Field.

It's important to give the system some time to update the Field because it is updating every spot the Field appears in; e.g. email templates, text templates, smart blocks, etc.
