You can import a Dotloop transaction into your Open To Close account by following the directions below.

Step 1:

There are three ways to import your transaction from Dotloop to your Open To Close account.

  • From your Dashboard, click the + New option and choose Import Dotloop.

  • From your Dashboard widgets, click the Add Property button and choose Import Dotloop.

  • From the navigation menu, go to the Properties page and click on Add Property. Choose Import Dotloop.

Important:

If you have not connected your Dotloop to your Open To Close account, click Authorize Dotloop. You will be asked to log in to your Dotloop account and authorize Open To Close to access all profiles within your Dotloop account.

Step 2:

Choose one of the Dotloop Profiles.

Step 3:

Select the property transaction that you would like to import. You can also apply your API Field Map Template for Dotloop and click the arrow icon.

Step 4:

Fill out the Details tab. These are the required fields that you need to complete.

  • Team

  • Team User

  • Property Title - please ensure to remove all special characters to avoid any error messages and lag issues

  • Choose the Client Type and Status

Step 5:

Go to the Contacts tab and choose the contacts you want to import or update to your property.

  • You can select All or choose the contacts you want to import and update (if the contact exists)

  • You can also update their contact role from the drop-down menu.

Step 6:

Dotloop documents can be imported and mapped to your property folders and/or file placeholders after the loop has been imported.

Step 7:

You can also apply your saved Property Templates.

Step 8:

Set your Details Tab and Communication Tab.

Step 9:

Click the Import Loop button.

Please Note:

It can take a few minutes to complete the import from Dotloop. Please be patient while it is processing.

Pro Tip:

We recommend creating an API Field Map Template to save time, standardize your process, and increase productivity.
