If you are utilizing triggers, you have likely seen a list of the different statuses that the triggers can fall under when you are in the Trigger section of a transaction. Let's go over each status so you understand what is happening with the triggers.

Statuses

  • Ready To Go - This represents any trigger that is past due, due today, or due immediately.

  • Immediate - These triggers will be due immediately. If the conditions have been met for these triggers, they will be queued in your health bar and ready for you to review them.

  • Scheduled - These triggers will have a date assigned to them. If you have conditions on the triggers, they all have to be met for it to show in this section.

  • In-Process - This status includes both Scheduled and Immediate triggers where the conditions have not been met.

  • Incomplete - If you have a trigger that hasn't been completed, such as an email that's missing a due date and time, it will show under this section.

  • Listeners - These are specific to field and field section triggers. It "listens" to the trigger to see if any field or field section needs to be added or removed based on the conditions set on the trigger. These types of triggers will always stay in the Listeners section.

  • Inactive - These triggers are turned off.

  • Executed - This means the trigger has been fired off and will not have the opportunity to fire again.

  • Deleted - Anytime you delete a trigger from the transaction you are working on, it will show under the Deleted section.

Options

  • Re-Sync Triggers - If you've made changes to your tiggers, you can click on Re-Sync to have them all synced up again.

  • Clear Errors - There are times you might see an error, such as Missing Subject. You can add the subject line, and then go back to the trigger. If the trigger still shows it's missing the subject line, go ahead and clear the error.

  • Turn All On/Off - If you need to work on all of your triggers but don't want them to fire off, you can first turn off all of the triggers. Once the triggers are all updated, turn them back on.

Image shows an arrow pointing to the Trigger section on the header for the transaction. If you don't have the Messages section, it will be the third from the right on the header. Below the header on the left side is a list of the statuses. They are shown in the same order they are listed in the article above.
