Can I place calls or send texts from my Open To Close account?

Yes! After you have registered with Twilio, make sure you have a number that can receive calls and texts under your Profile in Open To Close.

When you go to place a call with the client, it will first call the number in your Profile. Once you answer, it will attempt to connect you to the number on the client's contact record.

Text messages sent from Open To Close and received are logged in the Text Inbox in Open To Close. You can always relate any text message you receive to one of the properties in your account.

How do I delete a text message?

There is no option to delete text messages in Open To Close. All text messages sent or received in Open To Close are logged in the Text Inbox where you can choose to assign them to a property in your account.

How many phone numbers can I claim for Open To Close users?

The number of phone numbers an organization can claim is equivalent to the number of team members you have.

Can I use my phone number in Open To Close?

Users would need to claim an Open To Close phone number through Twilio in order to use the texting and/or calling features.

Does Open To Close have a group texting feature?

Group texting is not available in Open To Close. Users can send a text message to multiple contacts but the text message will be sent individually. Received messages return to the Text Inbox within Open To Close.

Where do I see how many text messages have been used?

To see the monthly usage, click on the gear icon in the lower left side of your Open To Close account and select Phone Numbers. A panel will open to the right which shows the Monthly Usage, as well as all numbers claimed and assigned to your account. The Monthly Usage shows the number of texts used for your whole organization.

Can we port over phone numbers from Twilio so we can use them in Open To Close?

Yes, there is an additional cost and it would take 2-4 weeks to complete the request.

When you receive a text message from someone, why doesn’t it automatically associate that reply back to the property?

Texts are not threaded like emails. For example, typically there is no subject line and reply/reply all button to make that threaded association. All texts are 100% independent by nature because of that they cannot relate back to a specific property.

Can you reassign a phone number to a different team member?

Yes, numbers can be reassigned to different team members.

What happens if you get a phone number but don’t assign it to any team member?

After a number has been selected, it will be available to be assigned under the Phone Numbers section of your Open To Close account.

Is there a way to tell who is calling me if someone calls my Open To Close active phone number?

As long as you have the client's number saved in your phone, if the client calls back your Open To Close number it will show the client's contact. If you do not have the client's name saved in your contacts on your phone, you just see the number the client is calling from.
