What is the As Described Guarantee?
Updated over a month ago

The As Described Guarantee is the only way to protect your purchases. This protection builds as the vehicle value increases, creating more dynamic coverage for vehicles at all price points. Declining this coverage will result in purchasing the vehicle “AS IS, WITH ALL FAULTS.”

The As Described Guarantee fee varies based on items such as sale prices and mileage. Pricing can range from $50 - $180. Each arbitration claim is subject to a $300 deductible.

As Described Guarantee Coverage

For vehicles purchased at $6,000 and under, you’ll get coverage on:

  • Lower-end engine noise

  • Internal head gasket leaks (gas-powered engines)

  • Automatic transmission slipping or failing to shift.

  • Transfer case failure

  • Differential noise

And for vehicles purchased at $6,001 and above, you’ll get upgraded coverage on the above items as well as additional items, such as:

  • Rear main seal leaks

  • Suspension

  • Major cosmetic damage

  • Power windows, locks, seats, sunroof, and navigation

  • Air conditioner and heater
