Fan HQ and Posts give you one place to bring your music, merch, and tour dates together - so fans can discover, engage, and go deeper without leaving your world. This article covers how to add each across both surfaces.
Music - On Fan HQ
Releases
The Releases block lets fans play your music directly on your Fan HQ page using native DSP embeds.
Navigate to Fan HQ and click + Add Block.
Select Releases.
Paste in a Spotify, Apple Music, or Deezer link - the music fetch tool pulls in a full set of DSP links for that release automatically.
Configure layout (list, grid, or carousel), DSP order, display options, and appearance.
🟡 Please note: The DSP link at the top of the order is the player that loads when a fan taps or clicks on a release.
Ask fans to connect their DSP
The Connect DSP block on Fan HQ prompts fans to link their Spotify, Apple Music, or Deezer account, so new music lands in their library automatically when you send a pre-save broadcast.
Navigate to Fan HQ and click + Add Block.
Select Connect DSP.
Toggle on the DSPs you want to offer and configure the heading, call to action, and description.

Music - In Posts
Audio or Video Block
Use an Audio or Video block in a Post to share music with fans before anyone else hears it. Gate the section to control who gets access - for example, fans who are signed in, or fans who have pre-saved.
In the Edit tab of your Post, click + and select Audio or Video from the Media blocks.
Upload your content and configure the block appearance.
Set section gating to Everyone, Signed in, Subscribers, or Custom depending on your intended audience.

Spotify block
Embed a Spotify release, playlist, or podcast episode directly in a Post using the Spotify block.
In the Edit tab of your Post, click + and select Spotify from the Media blocks.
Paste in your Spotify URL.
Configure the title, thumbnail, and toggle dark theme or compact size to match your Post design.
🟢 Top tip: The Spotify block is a great way to surface a new release or curated playlist alongside a first listen or release announcement Post - fans can play it without leaving your world.
Tour dates - On Fan HQ
The Tour block pulls upcoming show dates directly from your Bandsintown or Seated Events integration and displays them on your Fan HQ using your Brand Kit styling.
Navigate to Fan HQ and click + Add Block.
Select Tour.
Configure the block title and the number of shows to display by default. You can also hide individual dates.
🟡 Please note: The Tour block requires an active Bandsintown Events or Seated Events integration. If you have not set either up, navigate to Settings > Integrations first.
Tour dates - In Posts
Tour dates can also be embedded directly inside a Post - useful for tour announcements, presale communications, or any Post where show dates are relevant.
In the Edit tab of your Post, click + and select Tour from the Engage blocks then choose Bandsintown or Seated..
Set the maximum number of events to display.
Merch - On Fan HQ
Shopify stores
The Merch block lets you embed products directly on your Fan HQ from your Shopify store.
🟡 Please note: You must connect the Shopify Storefront API before products can be pulled through. See Connect Shopify Storefront API for setup instructions.
Navigate to Fan HQ and click + Add Block.
Select Merch Store.
Configure the following:
Block title
Products from - whole store, collection, tag, or product type
Sort by - best selling, price low to high, price high to low, or title A-Z
Products to show - default is 6
Layout - list, grid, or carousel
Toggles - show prices, show sold out, show load more button
Appearance
⚪ Note: Appearance settings configured here override your Brand Kit card defaults for this block only.
🟢 Top tip: Link to a specific product or collection rather than your whole store when a new drop is live - it converts better.
Non-Shopify stores
For stores not connected via Shopify, use a Links block to showcase your merch. The Links block gives you full control over images, links, and block appearance including list, grid, and carousel layout options.
Navigate to Fan HQ and click + Add Block.
Select Links.
Add your store URL, a title, and an optional image per link.

Merch - In Posts
The Merch Store block is not currently available in Posts. Use a Button block to send fans directly to your store or a specific product, or a Links block to feature multiple products or collections.
Button block - click + in the Edit tab, select Button from the Text blocks, then set the label, link URL, and appearance.
Links block - click + in the Edit tab, select Links, and add your store URLs with titles and optional images.
