Through Openstage’s Fan Club feature you can not only super-serve your most die-hard fans with exclusive content, but you can also monetise that opportunity. Whether it is a monthly subscription model you want to go with or offer pay-per-view content and ticketed live streams - we have you covered.

In this article, we’ll list down how you can set up a paid or free fan club for your community.

1. Set up your Stripe Wallet and Switch on Subscriptions

Under the Artist Settings Section, go to the Payments tab and connect your Stripe wallet for Fan Subscriptions.

Next, go to the FanPage section under Engage and enable “Allow new subscribers” under the Subscriptions tab. You can also add a Welcome message, name and description for the Fan Club.

Note - Even if you just want to start a “Free Fan Club” for now we recommend that you set your Stripe Wallet for the future if you do decide to monetise via tiers, pay-per-view content or want to accept tips/donations from your fans.

2. Set up Tiers

Head over to the Openstage Dashboard to the Engage section and then the Subscriber Content subsection. Once there, create as many pricing tiers as you’d like based on your fan club strategy - could be a free fan club or could be any amount you deem fit for your fanbase. Remember to leave it in draft state till you want to push the tiers and content live.

3. You’re all ready to start uploading your content now!

Scroll back up on the same page (Subscriber Content subsection) and click on the type of content you want to upload to your fan club. You have the choice of uploading images, videos, audio files, text, polls here and even live stream from this space.

Once you click on the type of content - select the tier you want the asset to feature in and then fill in all the details. Here you will have the option of pinning the content to the top of the feed, scheduling it for a later time or simply saving and publishing that right away.

4. Previewing Content

Go to your FanPage (Eg - https://onlythepoets.os.fan/) and sign in with your Openstage Manager login to the subscription section/ fan club. Once you login you’ll be able to see all the content there (which is available across all the tiers).

5. Going Live

Once you’re happy with how everything looks, go back to the Tiers section under Subscriber content and push the Tiers from “Draft” to “Live” and your Fan Club will be visible to your fans on the FanPage.

And there you are, all set to build and nurture a community of your fans, while also collecting important data points which will help you measure the actual value of your fans beyond “Views” through this Fan Club.
