How to generate reports

Instantly create title review reports or CoTs for multiple registers

Updated over 2 years ago

Reporting on titles can be manual and time consuming process. The Land Registry data has to be collected, reviewed and reported back to the customer quickly and in a familiar and standard format.

We are making this process simpler and automated to save you time and allow you to focus on providing your customer with meaningful advice. You can now export title registers into various formats through a simple and straightforward interface.

How can you generate reports in Word format?

One title register:

  • Order the register for the title you need (if not already ordered). If the documents were originally ordered in a different matter, find the title and click "Open Title"

  • Scroll down and select "Export" or use the "Export" buttons at the top right-hand side of the title panel.

  • Select your the report you would like to generate and once confirmed, wait for the report to download

Multiple title registers:

  • Navigate to the Documents page to see all of the docs ordered or viewed in this matter.

  • Select the registers you would like to report on

  • Click "See Reporting Options" in the top-right of the page

  • Select the report you would like to generate and confirm the selection of the titles

Generating reports from the reporting tab

  • Open a matter

  • Navigate to the reporting homepage through the relevant tab on the sidebar

  • Select your the report you would like to generate and confirm the titles selection (note that only the title registers that were ordered can be included in the reports)

What reporting options are available for you?

  • An instant overview of the core property details that can be readily transferred into the opening section of your firm’s report on title.

  • Raise flags and suggestions, which you can tailor to your client’s needs (e.g. if the entity was incorporated outside of England and Wales a short commentary and suggestion will appear).

  • Better arrangement of information, specifically surrounding charges and restrictions.

  • Outline of key details of the lease or leases under which the property is held.

  • Stop spending hours of copy-pasting data into the CoT template and focus on analysis.

  • Get the data sorted in a smart way in the relevant areas of the report and just modify/remove whatever is not used.

  • Export title registry data on multiple titles into the CoT template in a click of a button.

  • Word version of the entire register with space for comments
