How to add a new store

Add a store (previously called a retailer) to your company.

Each store you run gets its own space in OrderSync, with its own purchase orders, supplier logins, locations and team. Add a store for every shop you buy for, so each store's orders stay separate and match the right address.

Stores were previously called retailers. You may still see "Retailer" in the app while we finish the rename.

Who can add a store

Owners and admins at the company level can add stores. Members can't. If you don't see + Add Retailer, ask your company's owner or an admin. See Team roles and permissions explained.

Steps

1. Open the switcher. Click your company and store name at the top of the left sidebar. The menu lists your Company and every store under Retailers.

2. Click + Add Retailer at the bottom of the menu. The Add Retailer form opens.

3. Enter the store name. Use the name your team knows the store by, such as "Cedar Rapids." It appears in the switcher and across OrderSync.

4. Enter a contact email for the store.

5. Choose the store type: Golf, Beverage, Dental or Personal Care.

6. Click Add Retailer. The new store appears in the switcher under Retailers. Select it to start setting it up.

Switching between stores

Use the same switcher to move between stores. Choose a store to see its purchase orders, Queue, Reports and settings. Choose your company to manage company-wide settings, such as Email Templates and company API keys.

Next steps

A new store is empty until you set it up. With the new store selected:

  1. Connect its suppliers by adding the store's supplier logins. See How to connect suppliers.

  2. Add its locations so OrderSync can tell drop ships from ship-to-store orders. See Locations: how orders get matched to your stores.

  3. Invite the store's team and give them a role at this store. See How to invite team members.
