Invite teammates so they can see and manage your company's purchase orders. Each person gets a role for the whole company, plus a role at each store you give them access to.
Who can invite
Owners and admins can invite teammates. Members can't. If you don't see the Add User button, ask an owner or admin to invite your teammate or change your role. See Team roles and permissions
explained.
Steps
1. Open your team. In the left sidebar, go to Admin → Team. You'll see everyone in your company, their company role, status, and the stores they belong to.
2. Click Add User in the top right. The Invite Company User form opens.
3. Enter their email address.
4. Choose their company role: Admin or Member. Member is selected by default. Each company has one owner, so Owner isn't an option here.
5. Give them access to a store. Under Retailer access, pick a store from the Retailer menu. (Stores were previously called retailers, and the app may still use that label.)
6. Choose their role at that store: Admin or Member. To add more stores, click + Add retailer and repeat.
7. Click Invite User. Your teammate gets an email invitation to set their password, and then they can sign in.
Company role vs. store role
Roles are set at two levels. The company role covers company-wide settings in Admin. The store role covers each store they have access to. For example, a store manager can be an Admin of their own store but only a Member at the company level, so they can manage their store without changing company-wide settings.
Managing teammates
Pending invites
After you send an invite, your teammate appears on the Team page with the status PENDING until they accept it and set their password. Then their status changes to ACTIVE.
If they can't find the invite email, ask them to check their spam folder, then click Resend next to their name to send it again. Resend only appears for pending invites.
Change a teammate's role
If you're an Admin or Owner of the company or of the store, you can change a teammate's role there. Members can't change roles.
1. Go to Admin → Team.
2. Click Change Role next to the teammate.
3. Pick the new role and click Update Role.
You can also change the role of someone whose invite is still pending.
Remove a teammate
Click Delete next to the teammate to remove them. The owner can't be removed, so the Delete button is greyed out on their row.
