Your First Week With Orion

What is normal in your first few nights, how to find your temperature setting, and when to contact us.

Your first few nights on Orion involve some adjustment. Here is what is normal.

What is normal on night one?

  • Temperature moves gradually. Orion does not snap to a new setting.

  • You will hear it. Light fan and pump noise is normal, and filling and priming are louder still.

  • Your bed feels warmer than the number suggests. The temperature refers to the water Orion circulates, not the surface of your mattress. Sheets and bedding sit between the two.

  • Sleep insights may not appear yet. After setup it can take an extra night before they show up.

How do I find my setting?

Almost nobody gets their temperature right on the first night. Start near neutral and move one step at a time across several nights rather than jumping.

Room temperature matters too. Orion cools the bed rather than the room, so a warm bedroom limits how cool the surface can get.

What should I check in week one?

  • Both people set up as Members, each assigned to the side they actually sleep on

  • Sleep insights appearing for both people

  • Water level checked once

  • Control Tower sitting level and ventilated, three to five inches from the wall

When should I contact support instead of waiting?

  • Your bed is not reaching temperature after several hours

  • The system shows as offline

  • You hear loud or unusual noises, or see water anywhere. Unplug it first.

  • No sleep insights after two nights

How long do I have to decide?

You have 30 nights from delivery. If you are still dialing in your settings as the window closes, contact Orion Support before it ends.

Contact Orion Support with what your Orion is doing that you did not expect, your current temperature setting, and which night you set it up.
