If you are approved for a shift, you will receive an acceptance notification within the app and via email.
Please note that simply applying for a shift does not guarantee approval. Your application will get sent to the company you applied to and will then show on your applications as one of 4 statuses:
Registered Interest📝
If you are a new worker or have not worked in 90 days, you can register your interest in any shifts by visiting the "Find Work" page, where you can search for available jobs in your area. If you’re selected, we’ll contact you directly to complete the necessary checks.
Unsucessful🚫
The shift has been given to another officer. If you are unsuccessful, we will reach out to you if there are any cancellations or no-shows for the shifts you've applied to.
Accepted✅
means you got the shift and more details will follow - would then be committed to working the shift! 🎉
Pending⏱
which means that the company has not yet made a decision on the preferred officer
Expired⚠️
Pending applications expire after 5 days if they are not Accepted or Declined.If you want to re-apply, this is really easy to do! You can find these applications under 'Expired' applications and click 'Re-apply'.
Declined❌
means that you were not successful on this occasion
You can view the status of all of your applications from the calendar page, both on the calendar and in the "Your Applications" section.
Once you are approved, the full address of the site will be provided to you.
