đĄ Catalog Setup: Products sold in the OMS mobile app are created and managed inside the main Edlio Payments Management Portal. Specific configuration flags must be enabled on each item before it will populate inside the mobile app.
Required Product Settings for OMS Visibility
If you open the OMS mobile app and your product list is empty, one or more required product fields are missing. To configure an item for mobile sales:
Log into the Management Portal.
Navigate to Transactions â OSP Products and click the Edit (Pencil) icon next to an existing item, or click Add Product.
Verify and enable the following mandatory settings:
Active Dates: Ensure the current date falls between the product's Start Date and End Date. Expired items disappear from the mobile app immediately.
No Student ID Required: Under the Additional Options tab, check this box. In-person mobile checkout is designed for fast, frictionless purchases where linking a student profile is not required.
OMS Sales Allowed: Under the Additional Options tab, check OMS Sales Allowed. This is the master visibility toggle that pushes the product catalog item to the OMS mobile app.
Click Save to publish the changes.
Hiding Event Items from the Public Online Store
In many event scenarios (such as gate tickets, concession snacks, or game-day merchandise), schools want items available only to mobile sellers at the venue, rather than accessible on the public web store where parents might purchase in advance.
OTR Use Only: Located under the Additional Options tab. When checked, this setting completely hides the product from your public online school store website while keeping it 100% active and visible inside the OMS mobile app and OTR in-person screens.
Product Images and Visual Thumbnails
Adding product images helps volunteers quickly identify items on small smartphone screens:
Image Format: Use standard JPEG (.jpg) images. Other file formats (such as progressive WebP or heavy PNGs) may fail to render correctly in the mobile app grid.
Image Resolution: Keep images square or 4:3 ratio with compact file sizes for fast wireless syncing over cellular data connections.
â ď¸ Syncing Catalog Changes: After modifying product details in the Management Portal, staff members currently logged into the OMS app should log out and log back in, or pull down on the product list screen to refresh the local catalog cache.
