Managing Customers in Edlio Accounting: Setting Up Student, Parent, and Vendor Payees

Learn how to create and manage customer profiles, link student IDs and payers, and search customers during receipt entry in Edlio Accounting.

Managing Customer Records in Edlio Accounting

In Edlio Accounting, every incoming receipt requires a designated payer. The Customers management interface provides a centralized directory of students, parents, community sponsors, booster organizations, and district entities who remit funds to your school.

💡 Best-Practice Adoption Tip: Before creating receipt batches for registration fees, athletic passes, or field trips, verify that student ID numbers and parent contact emails are populated in Customer profiles. Having pre-indexed customer records eliminates duplicate entries and ensures donor tax statements match individual family accounts.
