Biosensor Support Guide

1. Check Sensor Power

Make sure your biosensor is powered on and ready to use:

  • Confirm the sensor has been charged recently.

  • Place the biosensor on its charger and check that the red charging light turns on.

2. Verify Charging

Ensure the sensor charges correctly:

  • The red charging light should turn on immediately when the sensor is connected.

  • While charging, the red light remains solid. Once fully charged, the light will turn off.

  • Always use the white charging cable provided with your biosensor. Other cables may damage the charging port.

3. Inspect the Charging Port

A quick visual check can prevent issues:

  • Make sure the charging cable is fully seated in the port without applying force.

  • Charging pins and assessment pins are separate—assessments may still work even if a charging pin is damaged.

  • If charging seems slow, check the battery level in the app (it may take a few minutes to update).

  • A fully charged sensor may briefly show the red light before turning off.

  • Test the USB cord with a laptop or mobile battery to rule out voltage issues.

Important: Do not wiggle, bend, or apply pressure to the cable or port, and avoid forcing the connector beyond its natural position.

4. Rule Out External Causes

Sometimes the charging issue is not the sensor itself:

  • Try a different charging cable if available.

  • Use a different power source, such as a wall outlet or USB port.

  • Ensure charging behavior is consistent across different setups.

5. Check Sensor Attachment

Proper attachment ensures accurate readings:

  • Confirm the biosensor is fully seated in the ECG belt’s silver clips.

  • Ensure there is no looseness or rattling during normal handling.

  • The sensor should remain in place even if lightly repositioned.

6. Check Power Retention

Make sure your sensor holds a full charge:

  • If the battery drains unusually quickly (e.g., 100% only lasts for one assessment or one assessment plus a workout), this may indicate a sensor or battery issue.

7. Confirm Readiness Before Retesting

Before using your sensor, check the following:

  • The sensor is fully charged.

  • Charging connection is stable.

  • No flickering or intermittent power is observed.
